The first trial of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Victoria began in the Barwon region on 1 July 2013. From 1 July 2016, the NDIS became available across other areas of Victoria. The NDIS will be made available progressively across the state over the next three years.

The NDIS Snapshots for Carers Series has been designed to make it easy for busy carers to get up to speed on everything they need to know about the NDIS.
