Join us for a series of 3 workshops to explore how the gentle movements of Tai Chi and the practice of mindfulness can sustain you in your caring role.
The workshops will include:
• An introduction to Tai Chi with some gentle movement seated or standing
• An introduction to mindfulness and some guided meditations
• Exploring how mindfulness can help you cope more effectively with challenges and stress in your caring role
• Tips and handouts for daily practice
About the facilitator:
Anja Tanhane has been practising Tai Chi and meditation for thirty years and has taught in a wide range of health and community settings.

Who should attend?
Carers, family members, and friends who are supporting a person with dementia, a frail older person, a person with a disability or a person experiencing mental illness.
Participants must be able to attend all 3 sessions.
