STRATEGIES FOR CARERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS
We invite you to attend a workshop presented by Alfred Health Carer Services.
This workshop is for carers who may be struggling with the changes in their everyday activities and routines since a dementia diagnosis.
On completion of this session, you will;
Be familiar with practical strategies to assist you to respond to the symptoms of dementia
Understand the effect that these changes can have on you as a carer
Be aware of diet, personal care, wellbeing and lifestyle choices you are making
Receive written information and resources to help implement the activities and strategies at home
Exchange ideas and receive support and inspiration from other carers

Who Should Attend
Family members, carers and friends who are supporting an older person with dementia
who is living at home.
Assistance with in-home respite, transport and interpreters can be arranged; please make a request when booking.
Participants must reside in the Southern Metropolitan Region
