DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE AGED CARE SYSTEM?

The aged care system is complex and can be confusing.  Be prepared by coming along to a 2 session workshop which explains the many components of aged care. Participants must be able attend both sessions

Presented by Carers Victoria and hosted by Alfred Health Carer Services.

The workshops will include;

8/5/19 - Support at home

This looks at eligibility for services including the Aged Care Assessment, types of services, service providers and costs

15/5/19 - Residential Care

This looks at eligibility for entry into a residential home, how to apply and the cost involved

Who should attend?

·Carers, family members, and friends who would like to know more about the Aged Care System.

Assistance with in-home respite, transport and interpreters can be arranged; please make a request when booking.  Please wear comfortable clothing.

Participants must reside in the Southern Metropolitan Region
