A SHORT COURSE TO ASSIST CARERS OF A PERSON WITH DEMENTIA
This 3 session course is for carers who may be struggling with the changes in their life and relationships since a dementia diagnosis. Participants must be able to attend all 3 sessions which will be held on 28/3/19, 4/1/19 and 11/4/19.
During the course, presented by Dementia Australia, you will:
Gain information about the symptoms of dementia and how they may affect the person you care for
Discuss the effect that these changes can have on you as the carer, and how you can cope
Learn how to manage changes in the person you care for and how to help them lead fulfilling lives.
