Carers Speak Out: A consultation on community
services with carers in the Southern Metropolitan and Grampians regions of Victoria

The consultation aimed to obtain carers' views on the support available to them from their local community services, to improve the capacity of CAV and regional carer services to support and advocate on behalf of carers, and to empower carers to advocate on their own behalf.

The consultation targeted carers of the frail aged, carers of people with a mental illness, and carers of people with a disability. Over 350 carers participated.
