The Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre Southern Region recognises the significant role that carers perform in society. We are the regional contact point for carers who require support and respite services to assist them in their caring role.

The Weekenders

The Weekenders is a day activity and respite program to support people with dementia and their carers. The service is for people living in the cities of Bayside, Glen Eira, Kingston, Port Phillip and Stonnington.

Mental Health Carer and Family Support Groups, Southern Region

Carer support groups offer families, friends and other relatives the opportunity to learn more about mental health conditions, to talk to others in similar situations, share ideas on coping, and to find out more about available support services.
