Information Services include programs which focus on providing information to carers, the community and service providers about the local and regional aged, disability and community care services available in the southern region.

Community Information Program

This is a telephone information service available during business hours.  Information is provided to carers, the general public and service providers who call 1800 052 222 from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.  The Community Information team provides information over the phone, or at local and regional events.

Website Information

Information and resources of interest to carers, the community and service providers, about our services and respite options are available through two Websites managed by the Centre:

  • http://www.carersouth.org.au (this Website) describes Centre services and programs, community news and events, and has links to community services, publications and carer support groups.
  • http://www.respitesouth.org.au caters for carers, people with a disability and service providers seeking information, news and events about a wide variety of disability respite options including recreation, leisure, art and social activities available in the southern region.

Carer South News Newsletter

Carer South News is our quarterly newsletter for carers in the southern region. Each issue includes community news, carer's personal stories, updates about our services, new service initiatives, and a calendar of upcoming events across the region.

Commonwealth Carelink Centre Information System Database
