For family & friend carers 2012 - Aged and Dementia
Education and training is a valuable, and in some ways, crucial aspect of supporting carers. We offer information sessions and courses relevant to new carers and for those who have been caring for a while. We strive to make sessions welcoming, informative and supportive. For carers living in the southern region of Melbourne, we aim to be your best possible resource to access the support you need to enhance your caring capability. Facilitators are qualified professionals with extensive knowledge and experience in working with individuals, families and in larger groups.
Following you will find:
- Information on training sessions we design and present ourselves
- Courses where we partner with other organisations to provide training
- Workshops from other organisations involved in aged and dementia education and training
Please review the broad range of courses following. New listings will be added throughout the year. We are always keen to hear from carers in relation to any other workshops you think may be valuable so please phone or email us at any time.
